How Does HLI Serve Veterans? By partnering with local VA and serving as a community provider; with programs that will consist of:

Programs Presently Established:

S.A.F.E. PROGRAM: The Shelter, Assessments, Financial Assistance, and Empowerment (S.A.F.E) program is the entrance program to assess the needs for services. During this initial step,  beginning of our battle-scarred and displaced defender’s journey towards rebuilding their lives.  .

J.E.E.T.S. for VETS PROGRAM – This programs focus is to provide our veteran residents with the skills and resources necessary to secure and maintain employment.  J.E.E.T.S. stands for Job Essentials and Employment Services Training.

Advocacy & Policy Program: HLI will serve as the voice for those vets who need help when their voice is not being heard.

W.I.N. 4 All Program: Women in Need: This programs specific focus is to give aid  to the homeless female veterans with or without children or entire families in  need of S.A.F.E.!

Renewing Champions: This program has dual purpose:

First, RC events and sessions will serve as a way to reintroduce each veteran back

into society in a positive and responsible way!

Second, it serves as an opportunity to educate the community on the seriousness of

homelessness among veterans, the importance of  getting involved, and what is fact

and fiction in reference to why or who is homeless!
